A white woman with a heavy accent, supposedly a tech lead, was expressionless and aggressive throughout. When asking me questions at the end, she even told me that this place has no work-life balance. It was baffling; I wonder if she was having a tough time at work and was venting in the VO (voice actor). She asked two questions. The first was simulating promise.all. I thought it was a LeetCode question and hadn't prepared for it, but I did write it: if (completedCounts === tasks.length) callback(results). However, it failed to run correctly, probably due to a typo. She wouldn't let me fix it and said to move on to the next question. The second question was designing a tab. The argumentative mode officially began. I gave her a suggestion, and she nitpicked it, all in a condescending manner. It wasn't a conversation; it felt like she was finding fault. Finally, I got annoyed and retorted, "Just tell me what you want me to do." During the subsequent questioning, this woman launched into a tirade about how WLB doesn't exist, isn't a typical 9-5 system, and how she'd worked at Meta but the stress wasn't comparable to here. I don't know if she was just taking the opportunity to vent... Three days later, in the middle of the night, she sent an automatic rejection email. Whether she was

rejected or not didn't really matter, but this aggressive attitude was completely unnecessary. It was the kind of suffocating bureaucratic arrogance where someone of higher rank can crush you.
