The Chinese interviewer was very friendly. The interview was conducted in Chinese. Basically, they skimmed my resume, then asked some standard front-end coding questions and some JavaScript coding. The standard questions included HTML semantic tags, event bubbling, and JavaScript closures. The true/false questions were various JavaScript trick questions, requiring familiarity with this and prototype chains, and judging the content logged. --- I did this coding exercise: Given const text = 'Hello, my name is {name}.}'; const params = {name: 'Jack'} Implement a replacement function. Both the replacement and the replaced characters may appear repeatedly. --- Overall, the difficulty wasn't actually high, but I prepared almost entirely for GFE-style coding questions and LeetCode, but it turned out to be the standard Chinese front-end coding questions.
