Hi everyone, I’m currently in the interview process for the Meta Production Engineer Intern role and I’m hoping to get some insight into what to expect from an onsite follow-up interview, as my situation is a bit unusual. I initially interviewed for the Networking Production Engineer Intern role. While I was not selected for that position, I was told that the interviewers liked my profile and decided to fast-track me directly to an onsite follow-up interview for the Production Engineer Intern role. To clarify, I have not completed any prior interviews or a full-loop interview for the Production Engineer Intern role. Given this, I’m trying to understand what the onsite follow-up interview typically involves: • Is it a purely informal discussion focused on my background and experiences, or does it also include technical Production Engineering questions? • If it includes technical content, does it usually follow the structure of a full-loop interview (e.g., Linux, debugging, networking fundamentals), or is it more focused on specific areas? • Is the follow-up interview usually conducted with a hiring manager, or with another engineer/interviewer? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
