Cooked

so, I'm trying to get my first actual job this summer. I interviewed earlier this week. it was alright, all good. whatever. I did a bit of research about general interview practices/tips so ya know it was fine... However, the one thing I didn't bother to do was consider references and it didn't cross my mind until it was brought up at the end. I was completely bamboozled and just told the interviewer I could get them in "soon". Anyways, it's now a few days later and I see on Google that Ideally I should've sent them in within 24 hours of the interview. That said, not seeking any specific advice or anything. This has already been a learning experience. Just making this post to vent to the ether of the internet as I try to get my first job and maybe someone will find this funny or something idk. 😭
