I did a group interview last week for a job that could possibly be life changing for me. A couple hours after the interview (they want to move quickly), they invited me to a second interview for next week. They said it's now between me and one other person. I'm so nervous, I think I know who the other person is. She had really good answers and she has more experience than me. My question is how do I set myself apart and really stand out at the second interview? Update: Don't know if anyone is going to see this. But the ones that said it was a matter of a cultural fit, were right. The other person (who wasn't the person I thought would make the final round) was a better fit overall. I saw how the staff interacted with her and they seemed to jell well with each other. I knew from the moment she interacted with the staff, that it was over for me. No matter what I did, they just seemed to gravitate towards her more. It wasn't my place and that's okay. I feel really sad and defeated but the sun will come up tomorrow.
