(Seeking rice) Spring interview Background: PhD, multiple papers, multiple internships, related to autonomous vehicles Timeline: First, chatted with the author of a best paper, very insightful First round, I wrote a code question, I think it was about the coordinate system transformation of a car? (Related to autonomous vehicles) Then came the "remote onsite" interview, which consisted of four rounds. Group introduction: Machine learning coding (it's been a while, I can't remember exactly), I think it was about transformers, but it shouldn't have been difficult, otherwise I definitely would remember... Manager chat, very deep and insightful System design, related to autonomous vehicles, fairly standard Debugging, Jupyter Notebook, I was told there were several bugs, I remember it was about MIST doing MNIST classification, the main bug, which was essentially some details of Transformers, such as masking and padding. The most memorable part was the debugging question (which made me forget what machine learning coding was), it felt quite interesting and not difficult, as long as you know how to debug step by step and have written PyTorch, there shouldn't be any problems. The interview experience was very positive, the interviewer was very nice, the atmosphere was also very good, and at the end I talked to the manager about moving forward, we were a good match, including what we wanted to do, future vision, etc. Overall, it felt good, the team was strong, and the company had sufficient funding.
