Before each round of submissions, the interviewer would discuss the thought process and then ask follow-up questions. It seemed like the profitability of the games wasn't the main focus. Then, when I calculated the total trading market value for the three cards using Kelly criterion, the ratio exceeded 100%, which made me doubt myself. I ended up using 1/4 Kelly criterion, and the interviewer kept hinting that I was underbetting. I listened to him and increased my bet. I played for 25 minutes and went from 1k to 2k. I received a rejection letter the same week.
