I applied to IMC 2026 PhD intern QR and received a first-round HR interview. First, a brief self-introduction, then questions about my graduation date and job prospects. Then I elaborated on the two research experiences listed on my CV. Then came some behavioral questions, including: (The following requires a score of 120 or higher to view) How do you learn new knowledge? How do you collaborate? How do you resolve differing opinions? Why did you choose QR? Then I was allowed to ask some questions, including which other companies I was interviewing with and how I would choose if I received multiple offers. The interview lasted 30 minutes, and I expect a response within a week.
