I had an online assessment (OA) on Karat last week. Do an API design question in the first 15 minutes or so: We are designing the public HTTP API for a web service that helps corporate social media managers post to multiple social media networks at once (such as Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn). Our product has a few use cases: 1. Create a new post on one social network 2. Create a new post across multiple social networks 3. Provide statistics to show how users interacted with a post 4. Delete an existing post What should be the methods of our API? Give each method a name, and specify the fields of its request and response messages. For now, we'll assume that your API works 100% of the time and never encounters an error. Write your answers like this sample API method - note, you do not need to address specific GET/POST/DELETE semantics: Method: GetShippingStatus Request fields: Tracking number (string) Response fields: Status message (string) expected delivery date (date) Then there are two coding questions: You are running a classroom and suspect that some of your students are passing around the answer to a multiple-choice question disguised as a random note. Your task is to write a function that, given a list of words and a note, finds and returns the word in the list that is scrambled inside the note, if any exists. If none exist, it returns the result "-" as a string. There will be at most one matching word. The letters don't need to be in order or next to each other. The letters cannot be reused.
Example: words = "baby", "referee", "cat", "dada", "dog", "bird", "ax", "baz"] note1 = "ctay" find(words, note1) => "cat" (the letters do not have to be in order) The second question doesn’t have a screenshot, but it’s basically the original word search question.
