Although I wasn't selected in the end, it was still a pretty good experience. (Please give me more points!!!!!!!!!) The first round was coding, with four parts: writing an event logger. You should be able to find resources online. // Part 1: Use DOM querying to identify clickable elements (e.g., colored squares), attach click handlers, and log event metadata (like color and timestamp). // Part 2: Batch incoming events within a time interval before sending them to the server. // Part 3: Ensure that new batches wait if a previous upload is still in progress (upload utilizes Promises). // Part 4: Abort an upload if it exceeds 3 seconds and merge the aborted events into the next batch. The first onsite round was System Design. Given three images, design a photo album: the first image is an album list (each list needs to display the first photo and album name), the second image is an album (new photos can be added, and album names can be changed), and the third image is photo info. The system needs to receive updates synchronously across different devices, and some trade-off questions will be asked. The second onsite round was similar to LeetCode problem 68, text justification. Inputs: 1. string[] 2. {numberOfRow, maxWidth}, 3. seperator string. The task was to add each string from the string[] to a separate line using a seperator, with limits on the number of lines and the maximum length of each line. Part 1 was a simple implementation; Part 2 required a greedy approach. The third onsite round was a deep dive into a project; a prepared presentation was sufficient. The fourth onsite round was project coding. The task was to write a 7-day calendar, where columns represent hourly intervals and rows represent days. Each cell needed to be clickable to pop up a dialog box and create an event name. A mockup would be provided. Please give me points!!
