Context Interview process for the Rubrik 2025 Grad role, conducted mid-September following recruiter outreach.
Online Assessment (1 Hour) The assessment consisted of: *
DSA: One question focused on Dynamic Programming with strings. *
Technical Concepts: Ten multiple-choice questions covering Multithreading and Concurrency.

Round 1 Implementation** *
Problem: Design and implement a Linux file system. *
Approach: As an open-ended problem, the session required significant requirement gathering. *
Outcome: Three parts of the system were fully implemented, and a fourth part was partially completed.

Round 2 Debugging** *
Problem: The task involved a multithreading/concurrency code snippet filled with bugs. The requirement was to identify errors, fix them, and provide a fully compiling and running solution within 50 minutes. *
Outcome: The primary issue (a deadlock) was identified and resolved. However, the subsequent code failed to compile, and time ran out before the remaining bugs could be addressed or a working executable could be produced.
Result The candidacy ended after Round 2, as the strict requirement for a fully working code solution was not met.
