I applied to this company last year and got an interview, but withdrew because I thought the process was too long. I reapplied this year and was scheduled for an interview the next day. The first round was a QR interview with the execution team, mainly about computer vision. We discussed my previous work on high-frequency factors and execution, without going into too much detail. The interviewer was very compliant. They asked about Markowitz and regularization. It involved my experience using ElasticNet and XGBoost. Later, I talked a lot about the company culture with the interviewer. This company's culture definitely feels unique in the industry. The interviewer didn't try to make things difficult for me; they gave me a simple green-covered question to get through the process and then told me that the next interviewer would be a different person. An hour later, they sent me an invitation for a second, back-to-back interview.
