Technical: Introduce yourself / mutual introductions. Then the technical interview questions: Find the intersection of two lists. Find the maximum subarray sum. Afterward, he asked some other questions to I guess fill up the remaining time: Why do you want to work at JP Morgan? What do you want to do specifically? Some other questions about my current role (for example since I talked about working with databases and indexing he was like "how does indexing work?").
Behavioral Introduce yourself. Describe a time you faced a challenge in working on a team project. Describe a time you have found a challenge communicating with your team. Describe a time when you joined a project midway through and how was that experience? What is an accomplishment you are proud of? When was a time that you did the right thing? JP Morgan has morals/values blah blah blah exclusivity/respect. How will you uphold these values during your time at the internship? Tell me about a time you showed leadership. Tell me about a time you had a teammate struggling to keep up. What did you do? I am missing a lot of questions but this is all I can remember. I felt a lot of the behavioral questions were not standard but they can almost always be broken down to --> talk about a previous technical experience you had OR talk about any experience as long as it showcased a certain value/trait they are looking for (the question would make it obvious what they are looking for). Some tips: Practice mock interviewing with friends --> you need to speak a lot AND be confident while speaking. Match the vibe of the interviewer --> This is probably why I got the offer. The technical interviewer was more serious and dry so I matched the energy by staying more on topic, being concise, etc. The behavioral interviewer was way more chill so I matched the energy by being more hyper when I talked, joking around, being less professional (as in I talked to them as if they were my friend), etc. In both interviews have a confident voice and a smile. Be charismatic as a person --> this will help your professional and personal lives -- don't just be coding monkeys guys.
