So I gave my MAIDAP Applied Scientist Screening interview this Wednesday. Structure was pretty straightforward: * One question about my resume and GenAI experience * One system design question * One ML related leetcode easy Felt like it went okay honestly, nothing crazy hard. But at the very end the interviewer just said "reach out to your recruiter for next steps." That was it. No feedback, no "we'll be in touch", nothing. Now I'm lowkey spiraling lol. Like why would he tell me to reach out to the recruiter himself instead of just saying we'll get back to you? Does this mean they already made a decision and are letting me down easy? Or is this just standard Microsoft thing? Has anyone gotten this exact same thing after a MAIDAP screen? Please tell me I'm overthinking this.
