Mentioning leave request to HR once I've gotten verbal approval

So I got the verbal approval for my new job! During the interview process I never had an initial call with HR, so I wasn’t aware of the remuneration package and didn’t have the chance to mention that

So I got the verbal approval for my new job! During the interview process I never had an initial call with HR, so I wasn’t aware of the remuneration package and didn’t have the chance to mention that I already had leave booked. When the HR called with the verbal offer and mentioned the proposed start date of 13 April, I let her know that I have pre-booked leave from 27 April to 8 May. She said she would let the team know and get back to me. I think 2 options, either i start on 13th or start when i come back from leave. I’m hoping it’s all fine and that this is a pretty common situation.
