Hi!! So I’m a 20 year old college student who’s applying to jobs, and I have an interview in a few days with an adult toy store (not spencer’s, this is advertised as a lingerie shop), and with this I have a septum piercing- it’s nothing absurd, it’s a simple, 16g silver horseshoe, however I got it in December and haven’t had to be professional with it, nor have I ever had any type of interview with this type of shop. My question is, is it inappropriate to have my septum showing at the interview? If it was a corporate job then of course I’d flip it up unless told otherwise, but it’s a toy store, and those tend to be fairly tolerant of “alternative” styles. Of course, when in doubt go with the safe option, but I’d love some advice :)
