I applied to a position. Im above and beyond qualified, having 7 years experience working for the State on the regulatory side of this. (Driver Training) I immediately had a phone call, and a brief phone interview. I had numerous questions. I asked if I could come down there (2 hours away) for an in person meeting. The recruiter said sure, give her time to get an appointment. Then ghost. I figured due to the holiday, maybe people weren't in office. I called Monday morning and got voicemail. I called Monday afternoon, she asked to be reminded of who I was, immediately apologized and said I'm all set to start on the 13th. I still have a ton of questions, have not done any paperwork, and haven't even given notice to my company. So I asked for a phone call today. the recruiter set it up for 10am. It's now 10:30 and no phone call. Am I over thinking this? Is this red flags all over? A recruiter who's just swamped? I'm trying to figure out if this is red flags all over? Or a recruiter who is absolutely swamped? She's been very pleasant, has answered all questions when I do talk to her, but had been flaky on all other aspects.
