I had my final round interview today with HR. Unfortunately, the interview was late in the day and I was more nervous than I was for the previous one. The conversation ended about 5 minutes early. She said she is speaking to another candidate tomorrow and theyll make a decision by the end of the week. I dont know how to explain it but I just dont feel good about it. I sent a thank you email and havent heard back.This is such a bad feeling being at the finishing line and they’re choosing between you and one or two other candidates. Ive gotten crickets from the other roles ive applied to. Its tough out there right now. UPDATE: they were supposed to make a decision today but the hiring manager reached out and wants to have a video call with me monday morning. I take this as a good sign??
