Had a good interview process turn sour due to recruiter’s ineptitude! Initially jd had a wide salary range of 130-200. Upon initial screen told recruiter my range was wide at about 140-160. Due to being in a locl area she said range would likely top at 150. It was close enough so I agreed to move forward with their intense 5 rounds of interviews, which includes 3 technical case studies. Made it to final round and recruiter wants to chat again. She says I agreed to 140 and range is now in 130s! I was furious and declined the final meeting.
