I can finally share my positive and short experience to help you all have hope and push on in your next job search. I rage quit my old job 4 weeks ago to this day as I was treated disgustingly from the day I started. Nothing lined up was a risky move for me as I barely had any savings and it was the first time I’ve ever done this in my career. I am by no means encouraging anybody to rage quit as it’s luck of the draw when you will receive a job offer but trust me you will just like me! I also knew it would give me more time to apply and focus on what I really wanted and I got exactly that. Easily 250+ applications, 20-30 interviews, countless rejections but in the end I got an offer. Yes it may take some people longer but never feel in competition as there’s always a job out there waiting for someone and hopefully this shows it may not always take months/years. My best bit of advice is to have a really well presented CV/Resume and keep it to 1-2 pages max… When you’re invited for an interview/screening call etc make sure to let your personality shine through. The recruiter/hiring manager needs to see how you fit the culture of the team not just your experience as that only plays a part. Stay positive and stay motivated. Your time will come!
