Completed my Microsoft loop today! What do you think my chances are? Also recruiter question Just finished my onsite loop today and wanted to get some outside perspective. All 3 rounds followed the same pattern: intro → behavioral → coding/HLD.
Round 1 Medium–hard LeetCode style. I got the solution with the expected time complexity, but I did fumble a bit during the explanation. Ended up completing it though.
Round 2 They threw a High-Level Design at me, which I honestly wasn’t expecting for a new grad role. The interviewer was really nice and collaborative. We discussed a lot of approaches, I asked questions, and I contributed ideas but I couldn’t “finish” the design. Not sure if that’s normal or a red flag.
Round 3 Easy/medium LC. Went smoothly and I think I did pretty well here. So overall… 2 rounds felt strong, 1 round I’m bit unsure about. What do you guys think about my chances? ⸻ Recruiter situation My original recruiter’s email seems to have stopped working :/ possibly laid off? I still have my interview coordinator’s contact and I was given the name of the new recruiter, but no intro to them yet. Career portal is also migrating, so that’s adding to the anxiety. Any idea what I should do here? Should I reach out to the coordinator or wait? Anyone dealt with this situation before?
