I’ve had my GitHub account for 4 years with zero issues or violations. I recently participated in the Amazon Nova AI hackathon on Devpost. I submitted everything 3 weeks ago without. However, about a week after the submission, right in the middle of the judging timeframe, my account was suddenly suspended. Because my github account was suspended, my repository link started giving a 404 right when judges were likely reviewing it. This project is highly competitive compared to what I’ve seen in the public gallery and definitely it has a great potential to get one of the prizes, so having the source code vanish during the most critical week is devastating. I suspect I might have hit an automated flag or was potentially mass-reported by one of the competitors. I'm beyond frustrated because I've now lost my repositories and most of the projects I’ve worked on over the last four years, and it looks like I've been disqualified after 2 months of intense hard work on this specific project.
