On-Site for Online Assessment?

First time asked to do what I think is an OA on-site. If I fail, I get no interview and have to drive home. Is this more common now, due to AI? They said it will be 11 questions (JS, React, SQL) about

First time asked to do what I think is an OA on-site. If I fail, I get no interview and have to drive home. Is this more common now, due to AI? They said it will be 11 questions (JS, React, SQL) about 9 minute per question. What OA do you think they will be using. Gotta drive 1hr and 30min… I asked pay and they said base $80k. And they wouldn’t tell me the cap. It depends on exp. Red flag?
