I have never once _EVER_ gotten an interview through submitting through company websites nor job aggregators like glassdoor or indeed. But once I get to a phone screen, I'm on my merry way. This is my 3rd time job hunting, and I know the market sucks but I still see tons of good roles for me Things that have worked: 1. getting random referals from teamblind (since they're motivated by cash rewards) 2. referrals from friends But you can't have friends at every target company. So I've tried the following which don't work 1. contacting recruiters via linkedin directly 2. contacting hiring managers via linkedin directly How do you make a targeted application to a specific company?
