Hi everyone, I have a recruiter call next week for a Google SWE II - SRE (USA) role, and I’m hoping to move forward to the virtual rounds and eventually the onsite/in-person loop. I wanted to ask if anyone here has recently or in the past, gone through the SWE II early career loop, especially for an SRE-leaning role. A few specific questions: * Is the interview process the standard 3 technical + 1 Googliness/behavioral format for SWE II, regardless of SRE vs core SWE? * Are there any role-specific rounds for SRE, or is it mostly general DSA (LC based)? * For those who’ve had the in-person/onsite loop, how was the overall difficulty level compared to typical LeetCode Medium/Hard? * What did you do to prepare, especially anything SRE-specific beyond standard DSA prep?
