Hey guys, just wanted to share my Microsoft interview experience so others can relate or maybe give me some feedback. I got an online assessment (OA) a while back and then an interview invite for the Microsoft Azure team. My interviews were on Monday, October 27th. There were 3 rounds total, all on the same day. Mostly coding and a few behavioral questions in between. Each round had one coding question: * Two were medium-level LeetCode type problems * One was easy-level All questions were fair, nothing crazy hard. I was able to code, explain my thought process, and run most test cases fine. Interviewers were nice and gave me time to think. I actually felt it went well overall. Then today (Wednesday, Nov 5th), I got the rejection email. It said my overall feedback was positive but the team didn’t select me for an open position. They mentioned they’d share my feedback with other teams for similar roles, so I guess that’s something, but still hurts. Not sure what exactly went wrong. Maybe I missed some edge cases or didn’t explain something clearly. If anyone here has been through the same or knows how Microsoft usually evaluates new grads, I’d really appreciate any advice. Just wanted to start this as a thread for others who are also interviewing with Microsoft (2025–2026 start). Feel free to share your timelines, OA questions, or interview experiences. Let’s help each other out. Also, I’m an international student, so any advice from others in the same boat would really help too. Email from Microsoft
